Michael Wright is the primary faculty member for the Harrisburg University cyber-security program teaching undergraduate courses in Computer & Information Sciences; and graduate courses in Information Systems Engineering & Management. He is also an instructor for the Harrisburg University’s Government Technology Institute certificate programs relating to Information Technology and cyber-security.
Prior to teaching full time, Michael was a consultant for several Fortune 500 companies including IBM and Computer Sciences Corporation. He has also worked in the federal sector for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as a lead security engineer.
Michael has the following professional certifications: MCSE, CCEA, CISSP, CCNP, Security+, RES Certified Professional and ITILv3. He co-authored two books on the subject of Citrix security and has published numerous white papers and documents relating to information security.
Michael is an alumnus of the Virginia Military Institute and a magna cum laude graduate from Harrisburg University. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Shippensburg University.
