Michele Washko teaches courses in entrepreneurship, commercialization, and health economics. Her career has focused on innovation and technology commercialization, primarily in the healthcare industry. Past employers have included Merck & Co., Inc., Geisinger Health System, and the Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania, among others. Ms. Washko now heads Life Sciences Innovations, a consulting firm serving early-stage healthcare technology companies and investor organizations. In addition to roughly 20 years in private industry, she has been a Director for numerous privately held companies and currently serves on the board of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania.
