Karen Lubrecht is the owner and a Hybrid Learning Specialist with cKc Consultants, LLC, and Corporate Faculty with Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. She addresses talent and performance development needs in business and academia from analysis, through development and delivery to evaluation. Technologies are providing a plethora of options for modes of delivery, engagement and analysis of impact.
Karen holds her bachelor’s degree in Physics and her Master’s in Instructional Technology Management. She has taught a spectrum of math, technology and science courses to college freshmen and adults. In addition she has taught graduate courses in Educational Evaluation and Assessment, and Synchronous Facilitation and workshops in rapid development software and instructional design. She has spoken on engagement and motivation at state and international conferences.
Believing that sharing effective techniques and technological options to improve engagement and performance development is important, she participates in professional organizations. She served as Director of the eLearning SIG for the Eastern PA Chapter of ATD, Co-Chair of the eLearning SIG for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ASTD and Co-President of the Eastern PA Chapter of ATD. She served on the Technology Committee of the Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and currently sits on the Technology Across the Curriculum Committee at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
