A leading enterprise architect in the public and private sector for about a decade, Dr. Steve Else brings a wealth of practical and educational experience in enterprise architecture. He is certified in TOGAF™ 9, is a FEAC Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA), an ISEB Certified Enterprise and Solutions Architect, certified in SOA by Zap Think, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP)®. Steve has served in key EA roles in both the private and public sectors, including BAE Systems, CSC, Dynamics Research Corporation, and Synectics for Management Decisions in the private sector; and the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Transportation, and Health and Human Services in the public sector.
A member of the corporate faculty at Harrisburg University, Steve teaches topics such as enterprise architecture and systems analysis and design. He has also taught courses on Technology Forecasting and Assessments, Knowledge Management, and Project and Change Management. Steve wrote his doctoral thesis on“Organization Theory and the Transformation of Large, Complex Organizations” (published as a book in 2010) and is the founding editor of The EA Zone Journal. He is the CEO and Founder of EA Principals, Inc., and is highly sought after globally for his EA expertise in both a consulting and training capacities.
