Francis V. Manning (Instructor, Corporate Faculty) earned a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Monmouth College and an M.B.A. with a double concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Houston. He also was awarded a Project Management Professional certification by the Project Management Institute in 2007. Professor Manning has 30 years experience in Information Technology as an individual contributor, a supervisor, and a manager.
He has worked as a consultant or as an employee at numerous corporations and government agencies, including Texas Instruments Incorporated, MCI Telecommunications, Qwest Communications, and the States of Colorado and New Mexico. Most recently he was the Senior IT Program Manager for the Bureau of Indian Education. A former Army officer, he was born in Maryland and has lived in 11 different states plus overseas.
