Elizabeth (Libba) Hockley teaches College Composition in the General Education program at Harrisburg University. She has taught a diverse range of students including French high school students, county jail inmates, and liberal arts undergraduates. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Delaware and received her MFA in creative writing from Chatham University, where she helped develop a writing outreach program at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh. Her essays and poems have appeared in The Fourth River, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, inTravel Magazine, Coal Hill Review, and Broad! where her poem was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
