With experience in advertising, sales and marketing, non-profit leadership and small business ownership, Colette offers a practical business perspective. She understands tailoring products and services to the end user, having managed large advertising budgets as a media supervisor. In her Procter & Gamble sales and marketing roles, Colette gained insights on both consumers and customers. She leveraged her corporate background to purchase and manage a small recycling business, having no background in the industry. By forging strategic relationships, she built her business into a top auto battery recycler in the region. Between her business ventures, she led the incorporation and board formation of a non-profit, now over 10 years old.
Colette enjoys bringing business insights to her Corporate Faculty position at Harrisburg University. She teaches courses in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Communications.
Colette holds a BA in Communications from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. She grew up in South Dakota and now calls Hershey, PA her home. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being a soccer mom.
