Beverly Magda, Ph.D. is the Associate Provost, Academic Outreach at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. She focuses on partnership development with other academic institutions and corporations. Previously, she served as Associate Dean, Faculty Director, and Associate Professor of Technology Management and Systems Engineering Management at Georgetown University, where she developed, launched, and managed graduate programs both on campus and on-line, conducted outreach and business development, and led the academic operations of the programs.
Beverly spent over 20 years in the technology field that involved projects focused on enterprise-wide systems initiatives and organizational systems change at institutions such as the Humane Society of the United States and Johns Hopkins University. Her experience in managing projects from a systems level combined with her research led to publications and presentations regarding organizational systems change. Dr. Magda taught at Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, George Washington University, and Hood College at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
Beverly holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering from the George Washington University. She also holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science. Dr. Magda is a member of INCOSE, HIMSS, AMIA, and EDUCAUSE.
