Ed Uravic is a member of the HU Corporate Faculty and teaches graduate courses on business analysis, requirements and risk management, and procurements and contracts. He helped create and administer an HU professional development program for active project managers called PM Partners, and provides opportunities for HU students to broaden their learning experience through civic engagement.
He is a Registered Education Provider for the Project Management Institute and has a Masters in Public Administration from Shippensburg University. Uravic also worked in the Governor’s Office for Information Technology helping state agencies use automation to serve millions of citizens. He is an expert in project management, managing technology projects and teaching the subject throughout a 15 year career in the state government.
In an earlier career, Uravic worked in the state legislature, the Congress, and as a Washington lobbyist for a group of electric companies. His passion is writing, and his second novel was released in 2012.
As a Hershey native, Uravic has been heavily involved in the community as the head of the local environmental group; the leader of a non-profit organization to revitalize downtown Hershey, PA; a member of the working group to plan for the future of the town; and a leader of a parents group for the local school district.
