Harrisburg University Announces Spring Concert Series

On the heels of Harrisburg University’s inaugural concert featuring glam rock powerhouse The Struts, HU is thrilled to announce its 2019 Spring Concert Series set to bring national recording artists and more to Harrisburg!

The series kicks off with American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer Kurt Vile, who will perform at Club XL in Harrisburg on Feb. 11.

Other concerts will include performances from Joan Osborne, The Glorious Sons, The Recording Company, Comedian Tig Notaro, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, and the Marcus King Band.

Under the direction of HU Director of Music and Media Services Frank Schofield, the first set of shows marks the launch of what will become HU’s annual Spring and Fall Concert series.

“This is a really solid lineup of up-and-coming and established artists,” Schofield said. “The shows will bond the crowd and community, and that will grow show by show.”
