Dr. Paris received his Ph.D. in engineering science with an emphasis in computer science at the University of Mississippi in April 2005. He also holds a master’s degree in computer science and a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering. A charter faculty member at Harrisburg University, Dr. Paris is co-responsible for coordinating the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and certificate programs in CIS. He brings valuable experience from the academia where he previously succeeded as an instructor for an electrical engineering program and later as a research assistant for a CIS program He also brings insight and knowledge from both the software and hardware industries where he worked as an electronics engineer and software developer.
