Dr. Jennifer Booker has worked in a huge range of areas, from ordnance testing to missile design, aviation safety and security, quality and process improvement, and still taught computer IS and IT for nearly 20 years. To understand the deeper issues in system design, she studied psychology and gender theory. When not being a world-class nerd, she enjoys soccer, pole dancing, and figure skating.
Teaching and Research Interests:
Dr. Booker teaches the CISC program. This includes Computer Security, Networking, System Development, Project Management, and Research Methods.
Her research interests include increasing the diversity of people in computing, focusing mainly on women. She also has done research using Computational Biology to study healthy aging.
