Jennifer McNamara Corporate Faculty (LTMS)

Ever since my undergraduate research on the design of collaborative problem solving environments for high level mathematicians, I’ve been fascinated with optimizing the digital human-information interface.

Currently, I am dedicated to applying my background in training and education, AI and agent-based systems, human factors, usability, game development and general modeling and simulation to explore new avenues and applications for serious games. I believe that by leveraging games and game technologies we can change the way people learn, work, and live.

Games have proven to be a disruptive technology and an industry is developing around their serious uses. I strive to contribute to the advancement and professionalization of the serious games industry.

Most recently, I have been focused on using games and simulations together to strategically help organizations achieve their learning AND assessment goals. I’m constantly growing my understanding of the unique challenges and needs surrounding the use of interactive environments to train vs. assess performance and rely upon over a decade’s worth of personal lessons learned to help customers navigate the creation and employment of full solutions integrated into each unique organizational culture.
