Kirsten Richards, Ph.D. Assistant Professor in CISC & ISEM

Dr. Kirsten Richards currently teaching in the graduate ISEM program and particularly enjoys teaching healthcare, management and security related courses. Dr. Richards began her academic career as a peer tutor and considers daily interaction with excellent students is the most rewarding part of teaching. As a former healthcare professional and experienced teacher, she brings real world experience to the classroom. Her current research interests include technology solutions for healthcare and management, applied interaction design, and applied data mining. She is particularly interested in designing interface-based solutions for privacy in healthcare.
