Nayeem serves as the Associate Director for Student Life at Harrisburg University. He manages the University’s Residence Life, Housing & Campus Clubs & Activities. In his role, some of his responsibilities include setting housing policies, room assignments, on-campus programming, helping students through roommate mediation and conflict resolution, and counseling students. He is also responsible for assisting student organizations to hold campus events and nurturing student leadership.
Nayeem strives to create a safe, academic and engaging residential community and helps students acclimate with campus life. He supervises the Resident Assistants and Connection Leaders, who serve as peer mentors and student leaders in the campus community.
Nayeem has a Masters of Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelors of Arts from Bloomsburg University. Nayeem has been working in student affairs for about four years prior to joining HU in 2012. He is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Association of College and University Housing Officers (MACUHO).
