HU late summer session to take place online
As COVID-19 cases continue to grow, Harrisburg University continues to take action to limit personal contact consistent with the Pennsylvania Governor’s Proclamation. Harrisburg University will offer the Late Summer Semester (July 10 – October 16) graduate session completely online.
No face-to-face sessions will be held. No student access to laboratories or classrooms will be provided. This may change if the Governor of Pennsylvania issues new directions or SEVP changes its current guidance.
Federal guidelines for international students studying in the US have shifted to allow for greater flexibility in how programs are delivered and managed. Under the new (temporary) federal guidelines, students will still need to be monitored (e.g., attendance taken and verified), show academic progress (through their work), and maintain their full-time course load at 6 credits.
Please be assured that if you are an international graduate student studying at HU, you will maintain your visa status and be allowed to remain in the US to study and work as long as you continue to attend and fully participate in classes online to include attending Executive Sessions online versus in person.
