HU Presents Bishop Briggs in concert

HU Presents Bishop Briggs at XL Live April 24

Harrisburg University will present acclaimed musician, singer/songwriter Bishop Briggs with special guest Shaed in concert at Harrisburg’s XL Live at 8 p.m. on April 24.

Since emerging in 2017, Briggs has tallied 1.5 billion streams online, earned a platinum certification for her breakthrough single, “River,” and her full-length debut, “Church of Scars,” made its way to the Top 10 Billboard Albums Chart.

By way of her bold voice, unfiltered storytelling, and uncontainable energy, the British Los Angeles-based singer embraces a new level of confidence on her recent single, “Champion.”

Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, and more have praised Briggs, whose seismic and stage-shaking performances has led to two sold-out headlining tours.

Briggs has ignited Coachella and Lollapalooza, as well as American Idol and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Among other accolades, she was named the “MTV Push Artist of the Year” at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards and contributed a striking rendition of INXS’s “Never Tear US Apart” to the “Fifty Shades Freed” soundtrack.

Tickets are available now at concertseries.HarrisburgU.edu.
