HU Readies to Welcome Its Largest Class of New Students

Harrisburg University of Science and Technology  is set to welcome its largest-ever class as 160 new undergraduate students who have demonstrated  potential for success will join the student body this week. New students will begin arriving to the science and technology-focused university on Wednesday.

The University has kept its undergraduate tuition frozen for the past three years and its total student enrollment is now 2,200 full-time undergraduate and graduate students.  

 The private university is also celebrating its 10th Anniversary throughout 2015-2016.  A kickoff block party, “Nightlights,” is set for 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 12th .  The community is invited to the event, which will take place on Market Street, between 3rd and 4th Streets, in Harrisburg.  The event will feature five bands, seven food trucks, a beer garden and several other local food vendors.
