HU to host groundbreaking for Health Science Education Center
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its Health Science Education Center, hotel, and restaurant located at South Third and Chestnut Streets in downtown Harrisburg Friday morning.
Remarks will be made by city, county and state elected officials.
Our new 17-story building will contain 275,000 square feet of academic space, 197-room hotel and a restaurant. The mixed-use building will allow us to serve at least an additional 1,000 students in the fields of health sciences, advanced manufacturing, and the hotel and restaurant will produce a positive economic impact on our community.
The HU Groundbreaking Ceremony will take place at South Third and Chestnut Streets in Harrisburg at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
