Mission

The SIS Research group will investigate complex problems afflicting governments, nations, healthcare systems, universities, and businesses using smart and AI systems, and offer sustainable and contextualizable solutions and models. The group will seek research grants that will support its efforts. Its solutions will be made public through publications and presentations.

Vision

The SIS (Smart Intelligent Systems) Research Group will be the leading research team and collaborator in smart and AI systems.

Collaboration

This group will collaborate with HU Research Centers, such as the E3 Center, and with faculty members who are interested in accomplishing the vision and mission of the group. We will work with our students (undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students) to immerse them in the researches of the group. We choose to bring the university to the people and the people to the university by participating with society and industry to solve complex problems.
