Barry Boyer has many years of experience in Information Systems and Technology, serving in various management roles for over the last forty years in various market sectors, including several types of Manufacturing, Consulting, and Healthcare. He served as IT Operations Manager for two separate companies and as Interim CIO for another.

Most recently, Barry Boyer served as a Program Director in IT for a large healthcare organization. Also, he is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS) and holds two ITIL certifications, certification as a Service Desk Director and a certification in IT Knowledge Management. He presented a lecture on IT Governance at the national HDI (www.thinkhdi.com) conference. His research interests are in ITIL Processes and IT Quality and Delivery of Healthcare Information Services.

Teaching and Research Interests:

Barry Boyer enjoys Mathematics – his first passion in life. Also, he loves learning and has that constant desire to know more. Teaching is also a passion of his as he enjoys passing on his knowledge and learning. Barry Boyer loves researching the ITIL framework (IT Information Library).
