Students accepted to Harrisburg University of Science & Technology may begin their college education in Philadelphia. The University offers its entire first-year curriculum in Philadelphia at Independence Mall in the historic Bourse building, home to the Hussian School of Art.

All bachelor degree programs start in Philadelphia and seamlessly transition to the Harrisburg campus after the student’s first year to complete the degree. Students majoring in New Media Design & Production and Interactive Media may complete their entire programs in Philadelphia if they so choose.

Graduates from any Philadelphia high school, as well as high schools in Montgomery County and Delaware County may quality for up to a full-tuition scholarship. The University also awards scholarships on this straightforward basis: $23,900 for a 3.8 high school GPA, $10,000 for a 3.3 GPA, $8,000 for a 3.0 GPA, and $6,000 for a 2.7 GPA.  Transfer students can earn scholarships ranging from $8,000 to full-tuition.

There are no additional fees for students attending the First Year in Philly. The tuition structure is the same for both campuses. Housing is not provided in Philadelphia.
