Karl Bopp is a Harrisburg University Corporate Faculty Member who teaches Organizational Leadership and Professional Communication. A retired U.S. Army Colonel, he has held leadership positions in an array of logistics organizations globally to include Egypt, Republic of Korea, Germany, Panama, and Iraq.
Prior to retiring, Professor Bopp served as the Strategic Leadership Course Director for the U.S. Army War College’s graduate degree producing Distance Education Program. He currently serves as a contract Faculty Instructor for USAWC Distance Education Program.
Teaching and Research Interests:
Professor Bopp is an avid student of leadership and military history. He facilitates tours of Gettysburg and Antietam National Military Battlefields for groups of organizational leaders in which he interprets each battles senior leaders’ actions through the lens of leadership theory. Professor Bopp’s focus of study is critical thinking, organizational culture, leadership climate, and decision-making.
