Cindy Thatcher is a Learning Consultant with Teradata, the world’s leading analytic data solutions company. As part of Teradata’s Learning Innovation & Professional Development team, she is focused on the design and development of learning and performance support using a variety of blended, web-based and live interventions, such as workshops aimed at improving selling skills.
Prior to joining Teradata, Cindy spent 7 years as a consultant at CorpU, a research and education management company. While there, Cindy consulted with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies to produce and develop programs and solutions to build organizational and individual leadership and sales professional development skills in a cloud-based social learning environment.
Cindy earned her M.Ed. at Capella University, with a focus in Training and Performance Improvement. She also has certifications in ROI from Phillip’s ROI Institute and MBTI from the Center of Applied Psychological Type (CAPT).
Teaching and Research Interests:
Cindy Thatcher is a member of the Learning Technologies and Media Systems (LTMS) department and teaches Social Learning in the Organization and Learning Technologies. While she enjoys teaching many different subjects, she is especially passionate about teaching courses which fall into the learning subject area: learning technology, learning strategy and operations, learning measurement, and learning design and development.
Cindy's research interests center around studying trends, benchmarking, and best practices in the learning industry.
